a new beginning?

nahh. my new beginning started when i came into existence. 2010 is just another begining of a new year. but i'm definitely gonna party on the eve's, tonight. i'll miss you 2009, im not ready for 2010, especially the end of 2010, but life goes on. hm?

NOW i have the time to update this blog. the trip to cambodia! was tiring yet fun.

basically, all the architecture students went for the trip. it's a must to go, some went to penang. since i've been in penang my whole life, why not to cambodia aye?

it was a 6 days trip. we were tied up with schedules of places to go to and people to meet, dont even know why we had a meet up with the minister. and i realised one thing about cambodia, they give scarfs as souveniers! the whole trip, i've collected 6 scarfs, weird..

anyways, my finals was about the architecture in cambodia, pretty interesting country. they have the most finest and tiniest details of carvings, designs on the walls, roofs and gosh. even the floor. the best was angkor wat. so beautiful. sigh.

but sadly,it was flooded at that week when we went. but what the heck, it was worth an experience. =D

and so do you know wjhy i called it the 'you no buy i cry land'?

haha. it all started when we stopped at ont of the pit stops , all the lil kids will shout and push their way out from each other to open the car door and say this

lil girl: buy from me, one dollar only

ok, so andy said no to one of the girls, then after a while, we pitied them, so we bought the pineapples for one freaking dollar. then the other one came, we bought AGAIN. and another one came, we closed the door and locked it. and what they did was, they banged the car window so hard that we got so worried that it might break, so andy opened the door, and one of the girl threw a spider on andy and closed the door. and she said ' you owe me 4 dollars. ' the spider was one dollar, and three other fruits. goshh. this was one hell of a business .

but we had to open the door to ask the lil girl to take the spider off andy's top, haha. so she said this

lil girl : buy from me, one dollar only

andy : i buy so many already

lil girl : no, you buy from my friend, you no buy from me

andy : ....

lil girl : you no buy from me, i cry.

and she did cry! so annoying.

drastic change

i changed college too many times, decided to stay after the third change.
but everything are so far away. friends, close ones, places.. but education wise, its perfect. =)

my first week here and i already have 4 assignments to do.
most of them are drawings and sketches, and i will take at least 5 hours to complete an A3 size paper, i need to do 14 pages.

it is very challenging and it is definitely a race against time.

im a junior!

do you remember what its like on the first day of kindergarten? everyone knows what kids do on their first day, and they think they know what they did on their first day, can you exactly remember what you did? honestly i cant remember my first day. there are many different types of people. some are the shy type, some are those who desperately need friends so they wouldnt be alone, some are just ..i dont know. a loner i guess...

my class is starting next monday, so yeah, meeting new people, new friends.' new best friends.' hahaha! especially new roommates and housemates.

the point is, im actually going to college now!! i dont know anyone there, and in the freshman's year. feels like when i was 7 years old, standard 1 waiting to be in standard 6.

the only think is that there wont be any booksmart student or the nerd of the year who always gets first in class tryna impress the parents with good grades bla bla bla, but there are only gonna be the capable ones, competitions between the competetive ones, the real skill and talent. this is the real deal.

i bet im gonna s p r e a d myself real thin this time, doing this and that at the same time. sigh

but this is that part of life where you tip toe your way up. i'll tyr to jump.haha. 7 years of tip-toe-ing? i'll ended up having no feet. double sigh. i'll see what brings.

i'll definitely miss penang, last year i was so eager to go to kl but now .. i just dont. penang is the laid back relaxing place to be in, whereas kl? the first thing you'll hear or smell when you open the window are the smell of gasses and the honkings of vehicles. so noisy. i feel like a grandmother, haha. but yea, its a very hectic city . besides, im not ready to live in a city yet. triple sigh.

but im ready to see the drama of my college. i hope im the audience. haha.

but my college is moving to a better environment than the one it is located in now. in september i guess. this is the new one.

a longgggggggggggggggggggggggg day

im trying to emphasize the long word, but i think i reached the maximum. haha. but damnnn, i seriously had a long day. was so tired, didnt had enough sleep the day before.

i went for lunch with penny, unlce clive , jack and hector in bbb and then to wawasan university for the carnival. was under the sun for 2 hours , sitting down on the grass of the field. what to do ? we're your die hard fans D. haha. jack, omesh, D and i stayed till 8 then dinner. and i went back to D's place, and then straight to gspot. we were so tired!! i dont know why we went, but we wanted to go, so we did. and left at 1. i crashed out right away.

the day was weird, really weird.

it was a blue, red and white party night in bagan. joanne and i couldnt decide on the outfits, i ended up wearing everything red and she wore all the colours except blue. bagan was quite packed, but i missed d's set. joanne picked me up quite late, reached there around 11ish, her set ends at 10.30. pfffttttt. but we partied together. =) last few nights with you, i'll miss you priyadashini!!!!

the world mourns him, the loss of michael jackson left the world devastated. how can this happen? he didnt even have the few days to live for his comeback , he was due to make his return to the stage in london next july but he left instead. it was terribly a shocking news.

he definitely is the legend. the king of pop who sets the world dancing, who changed the music and entertainment industries had left the world. we'll have the memories and music , it'll be around forever.i've always admired him. god bless you mr mj.

so we took him out to celebrate his last few hours in malaysia. ao joanne and i dressed up, pretti-fied ourselves and headed out, and then they called and had a change of plans which is to the usual lepak point, the padang. ....................

but anyways, then joanne and i thought it was his last day, so maybe a lil bit more alcohol might be fun.and we got him drunk!!!! i was drinking coke the whole night, he thought we were all drinking with him, but it was actually to get him drunk! and the extra ' the watak sampingan ' leon subramaniam sudahmabuk. dia pun mabuk and he did some king kong dance moves.

3 months passed by so fast. the second batch of national service is finally over. sigh.

they had a fun carnival thing on sunday, so i went for it. went back to see the old friends. i think that day was the last i'll see them.

hm. so yea.. what to do..

and best of all!!!!! my company won!! ALPHA!!!!! we got the overall.

despite all those discipline problem, scoldings we got and everything bad you could think of happened because of us (haha), we still got the overall prize. i was so shocked.

but at that moment, i was hoping they would announce us as the winner and they did!!

hari lawatan keluarga! i went for it. to visit my national service friends. gosh.. i miss them so much... most of them gone tanner than usual. we went without telling anyone of them, so we kinda surprised them that afternoon.

ahem. we kinda got lost on our way there.. sorry.. hehe. was my fault. =p
so pei shing and her boyfriend came to pick me and yin leng from tar college. tar? this yin leng la, had to follow her to her college to copy her class timetable. it took her half an hour to do that! yin leng memang yin leng. haha. then after picking us up, we went to MBS to pick up phey and thennnnn straight to our camp. =D

we reached around 10.30 and left at 3 ish. kinda sad to leave them again.. but i'll be going back there soon for the carnival thing which is on the last day of the camp.

flare bar ? *nods head* uh huh.. again. haha. actually i was quite tired for flare that night, both of us, joanne and i. but we did went for it. amir yusoff came down to perform and a few others too. =)
some were drunk, some were i dont know what were they after that night. haha. when the clock striked 12, i was already feeling sleepy, i hit my head so hard with my palm just to be awake, it was a sunday night, after my work.
and oh, i've started work. in baan thai! i love that place. awesome FOOD of course and friends and staffs. ok so about 'it was a sunday thing'. baan thai is a great place with great delicious thai food but the customers are somewhat few... maybe it is because of the location, kinda hidden. it looks more like a house instead of a fine dining restaurant, most regulars go there and some i dont know where they came from. ok so, every sundays.. hm..i cant say it is jam pack but QUITE pack le.. so it was my first sunday, i was the only one working, so it was damn tiring.. and party after a whole day of work? i am never gonna do that.. anymore. no way. haha.

anyways, after flare , it was about 4? we went back to amir's place. to talk but in less than ten minutes, BAMMMMMM!!!! i fell asleep on the couch..
haha. woke up at 8ish and they were still talking.. god... yeah.. what a night.
